Innovative zero-emission freight solutions for cities: LEAD at the Urban Mobility Days
The LEAD coordinator Irene Blazquez Jimenez will be a part of a great line-up of speakers in the session “Innovative zero-emission freight solutions for cities” on Wednesday, September 30th, 14:00 – 15:00 (CET).
LEAD at the Urban Mobility Days
The session will focus on different projects bringing innovation into the foreplay of zero-emission freight solutions for cities. In addition to LEAD, another H2020 project funded under the same call will be presented: ULaaDS. The CityChangerCargoBike project focused on cargo bikes and their role in solving the increasing volume of traffic caused by commercial delivery services and private trips, will also be presented.

What are the Urban Mobility Days?
The first edition of the Urban Mobility Days combines two leading events from Europe’s transport and mobility calendar: the CIVITAS Forum Conference and the European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs). The event was initially planned to take place as a three-day conference in Brussels from 29 September to 2 October. However, the event’s new online format will enable participants to join debates and exchange expertise on the most important urban mobility topics safely from their desks.
It will allow policymakers, local authorities, academics, NGOs, urban transport practitioners, urban planners and all those putting the SUMP concept into practice to share their experiences using a virtual forum.
