Built on meticulous innovation, SCLEP seeks to revolutionise last-mile delivery, by addressing urban challenges (i.e. congestion, emissions, and costs). By bridging theory and practice, the platform offers detailed solutions for sustainable last-mile urban logistics, and it is now inviting public administrations, transport companies, and business angels committed to driving sustainable and socially responsible urban freight transitions to join the initiative.
SCLEP’s cutting-edge digital twin technology has led to a remarkable 30% reduction in congestion and emissions, along with up to a 25% decrease in transport and delivery costs associated with existing vehicles. The platform also enables a 100% reduction in emissions by optimising the selection of suitable vehicles for specific last-mile delivery systems.
The platform evaluates urban logistics systems using various key performance indicators (KPIs) related to economic, environmental, and social factors. It goes beyond assessing performance to identify opportunities for better efficiency and sustainability. With its capacity to anticipate and respond to urban logistics challenges, SCLEP is redefining the future of sustainable city logistics and contributing to more livable urban environments.
SCLEP is actively seeking partnerships and investments to fuel its growth, bringing the platform closer to commercial deployment across EU Member States, and beyond. Corporate Ventures, innovative transport companies, and visionary business angels are encouraged to join the project and help shape a greener and more sustainable urban future.
